BrainAB was a web application that focused on enabling students to collaborate on academic essays globally. I designed, developed, and marketed the project. During the life of BrainAB, I entered the Pioneer Tournament, an online global hackathon, and won a top $18,000 prize.
In these shots, a user is viewing an essay to provide feedback on. Once they enter a nickname they can begin to submit their comments.
In short, the Pioneer Tournament is a competitive online hackathon. The tournament involves multiple rounds of judging, mentorship, and pitching, culminating in awards and funding opportunities for the winning projects.
Over the course of 4 weeks, I made rapid progress on BrainAB in terms of design, development, sales, and marketing.
Via peer and expert judging I was selected as a winner of the Pioneer Tournament winning $18,000 in the process.
